![]() I am having a Lone Star Tall Boy Beer (just keeping it Texas). My Wife is having a 'Paper Plane' Evan Williams 1783 Bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Nonino & Lemon. ![]() ![]() When Keira returned we ordered our drinks and also our food. We looked over the Bar Menu because, well - you know why. Our Server is Keira and she brought over their Menus, Silverware with Cloth Napkins and Cold Water. We were greeted by the Hostess and shown to a booth of our choice - just a couple seats from the Outdoor Fireplace with Two Large Comfortable Chairs in front. We were very impressed at how well decorated this entire restaurant is - Very Nicely Done. Whiskey Cake itself has a Large Beautiful Bar area that's capable of seating a small gathering or larger groups. The Main Door of this place is Awesome - Very Large but opens with ease. We went for an early meal and arrived around 4pmish and elected to enjoy their Outdoor Covered Patio. My Wonderful Wife of those Beautiful 110 Months chose our place of Celebration - "Whiskey Cake" in the Woodlands. The Vette-Jet was all cleaned up and Shiny like Brand New. Yesterday (the 3rd) was our " 110th Month-i-versary " and we went out to Celebrate. For a special occasion, it would work well, but be sure to Reserve a good table, if you want one. Lunch, with a burger, one appetizer and one drink (tea) was $50, so this makes it a bit high for an everyday lunch. Large portion, and served with fresh whipped cream. Having only finished the burger between us, and with so few fries, we luckily had room for the dessert ,and our waitress was right, the Whiskey Cake was Well worth it. They took that a bit too far, as the brick made it heavy, and too raised, and I have NO idea where that brick had been.and bricks are made with dirt.not a good concept, right now, re trying to be extra clean?! I say skip the cutesy, and improve the flavor of the dish. It is served in a board, on paper, and on a brick, and it was explained that they are perpetuating the "3 Little Pigs" aspect. The pulled pork sliders were passable, but a bit of a swing and a miss on flavor, in general. The burger was great, the fries Might have been, had they not been cold, and the amount, for an Extra $3.00 was sadly, small. We ordered a burger, added the fries for $3.00 there, and the "Three Little Pigs" appetizer. Apparently this made it a "call drink" ,and I was not asked ,nor served a refill. I ordered sweet tea, which they did not have, so they offered to add their simple syrup, and it was fine. This IS a great section for families, though, but not 2 adults wanting to enjoy the ambience and music. I asked for a better table, and we were seated in the front area of the same sad section. Btw, there were Lots of empty tables, but the hostess tried to seat us at Truly the WORST table in the place right by a waiter checkout station, and the back door out of this area, as you head to the bathroom, so there would have been a constant stream of waiters hovering near us,and peole moving by. "Cracker Barrel" than the rest of this generally cool spot, so if I were you, I would Make a res, and tell them you want to be seated in the main area. We were ushered into the side room, far right. Last Sunday, at 3:30 pm,we walked into an over 3/4 empty restaurant ,and the young lady asked if we had a reservation. ![]() Vegetarian Restaurants in Oak Ridge North.Gluten Free Restaurants in Oak Ridge North.Finest Punta Cana By The Excellence Collection All Inclusive.Hilton Grand Vacations Club on the Las Vegas Strip.Hotels near (IAH) George Bush Intercontinental Airport.Hotels near (DFW) Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.Hotels near Little Beakers at The Woodlands.
